Hammerfinish is a fast dry gloss coating that exhibits a stippled metallic finish when dry.The rapid dry properties and decorative stipple effect of hammerfinish make it an ideal coating for items that have rough metal, welds or defects which would show up if a conventional enamel finish was used.Hammerfinish is mainly intended as an interior coating but may be used on items that receive intermittent exterior exposure.Hammerfinish is available in a limited range of colours; Sherwood may tint non standard colours to suite customer orders (volume orders) Some colours can not be tinted in the Hammerfinish product.Hammerfinish can be applied to bare metal if the correct cleaning and preparation has been carried out, however use of a suitable primer will improve long term performance.Hammerfinish is used widely in the trailer and machinery industry where an economical coating that is fast dry and requires no priming is common.Hammerfinish is touch dry in 10 - 15 minutes and can be handled in 30 - 60 minutes; usually one coat is sufficient.Hammerfinish is ready for use, however Enamel Thinner can be added if required.Available in 4 litre and 20 litre cans.Material and Safety Data Sheets
