About Us
Sherwood Paints is a privately owned Melbourne based paint manufacturing
company. We have been manufacturing coatings for approximately 30 years
and are located in Melbourne's Northern suburb of Campbellfield.
In the early years, we specialised in manufacturing an extensive range of timber coatings to a small customer base in Melbourne, primarily to the Furniture, Cabinet and Shop fitting industries, as well as a small range of light industrial metal coatings for engineers and small workshops.
Today we have retained most of our traditional customer base and still manufacture coatings from the Campbellfield factory, but have expanded our business considerably and distribute product Australia wide through a distributor network.
Our commitment to Research and Development has enabled us to produce many unique coatings and systems for a variety of markets. Sherwood coatings are essentially formulated to suit not only our customer's requirements but are also manufactured to suit Australian conditions. Today Sherwood manufactures and supplies an extensive range of high performance timber and industrial metal coatings to satisfy a vast array of individual customer requirements.
Sherwood has aligned itself with Vernici Egidio Milesi, a world leader in timber
coatings and has enhanced its existing range of products to offer the
latest technology in two pack polyurethane's, water based and specialty
coatings. This close alliance is not only focused on business growth but
also on the sharing of know how and technology between the two companies
so that these benefits can be passed onto our customers.
